How it Works:
Pour 2 parts of Wella colorcharm developer in bowl or bottle first and then mix in 1 part permanent cream hair color. Apply mixture to the hair. Process for 30 minutes and up to 45 minutes if additional depth or gray coverage is needed.
Wella colorcharm Permanent Cream Color, Wella Color Charm Cream Developer, bowl & brush, gloves, towel, old t-shirt, protective barrier cream (like coconut oil) and a timer.
Mixing and Applying for First-time Color
All- over color:
1. Section the hair in 4 quadrants by creating a centered part from forehead to nape and from ear to ear.
2. Mix 1 part Wella colorcharm with 2 parts developer*
3. Starting at the crown. Take a ½ inch horizontal sections and start applying 1 inch off the scalp through the ends and working towards the nape. Repeat in each quadrant, finishing in the front sections. Process 10 minutes. Do not rinse.
*Mix 1:2 ratio (for example 2oz color = 4 oz. developer)
Continue Application & Process
4. Apply all over the roots. Process for additional 30 minutes. Rinse with warm water and gently emulsify until water runs clear. Shampoo and condition.
