With one base and three barrel options, create any style with ease—from glam waves to defined curls. Intuitively designed clamps on each of the three interchangeable barrels gently hold hair in place for easy styling. Powered by RapidStyle™ Technology with a SmartSense microchip, this interchangeable curling iron delivers even heat across CeraShine ceramic barrels to speed up styling and minimize damage.
How it Works:
- Before you begin styling, ensure hair is 100% dry.
- Apply Paul Mitchell Hot Off The Press Heat Protectant to dry hair for thermal protection.
- Select your preferred barrel attachment. Make sure the iron is off and attach the barrel to the base. You will hear a click when it is secure.
- While holding the base, turn the iron on and select the right heat setting for your hair type. Please reference Temperature Guide.
- Open the clamp of your iron and place a 1-2” (2.5-5 cm) section of hair between the clamp and the barrel, starting at the root. Note: The bigger the section, the looser the curl.
- Gently close the clamp and glide through the ends.
- Twist the iron up toward the roots, wrapping the whole section along the full length of the barrel.
- Hold for 3-9 seconds, depending on your hair type and heat setting.
- Gently open the clamp and pull the iron down to release the curl.
- Allow curls to cool completely before brushing or combing.
- To set your style, spray hair with your favorite Paul Mitchell finishing spray for a lasting finish.
- Let iron cool completely before switching to a different barrel.
