By combining powerful digital motor with aerodynamics, the phenomenon known as the Coanda effect occurs to curl, wave and smooth – with no extreme heat. Using only air, the Coanda effect attracts hair to the barrel for you.
How it Works:
- Wash and Towel-Dry: Start with freshly washed, towel-dried hair.
- Pre-Dry: Use the Coanda Smoothing Dryer in drying mode to take your hair from wet to about 85% damp. The barrels and brushes work best on damp, not soaking wet, hair.
- Section Hair: Divide your hair into manageable sections using clips for easier styling.

Apply Product: For a style that lasts longer, apply a pre-styling product like a lightweight mousse or heat protectant spray to your damp hair.
