How it Works:
- Preparation: Ensure your hair is completely dry and combed through to remove any tangles. Applying a heat protectant spray beforehand is highly recommended to minimize heat damage.
- Power On: Plug the iron into a standard electrical outlet and turn the power on. This model typically has a simple on/off switch and heats up very quickly, often to a single, high maximum temperature (around 420°F-430°F).
- Sectioning: Divide your hair into small, manageable sections. It's generally best to work with the underneath layers first and clip the upper layers out of the way. The sections should align well with the 0.75-inch plate width.

Styling:
- Place a section of hair between the plates, as close to the roots as desired, ensuring not to touch the scalp.
- Hold the hair firmly between the plates and, in one smooth, continuous motion, gently pull the iron down the length of the hair, from root to tip. Avoid pausing the iron on any section of hair for too long to prevent damage.
- Repeat on the same section only if necessary and only after letting the hair cool slightly.
